Redmine Release Engineering - Task #2455 (Closed): ESC report failinghttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/24552018-01-10T14:45:25ZFlorian Effenbergerfloeff@documentfoundation.org

the scripts will fail if the gerrit review address is not a real gerrit person and a committer:

cron.runESC:mailing error
esc_run.txt:mentoring: analyze gerritERROR: analyze_mentoring failed with 'mentoring@documentfoundation.org'
esc_run.txt:ERROR: analyze_reports failed with 'reviewName'
esc_run.txt:ERROR: report_mentoring failed with list index out of range

We need to check who's listed now for the gerrit catch-all substitution? This will be added by default to any new gerrit submission.
Ideally we have Xisco in there - failing that, Thorsten could act as fallback.
Xisco, can you take care of this? Thanks!
Infrastructure - Task #2448 (Closed): Dashboard stats wronghttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/24482018-01-10T10:45:31ZFlorian Effenbergerfloeff@documentfoundation.org

Xisco researched on the Dashboard (thanks!), and it seems there are quite some stats wrong:

Why git://gerrit.libreoffice.org/bibisect-win32-5.2, git://gerrit.libreoffice.org/bibisect-win32-5.1, git://gerrit.libreoffice.org/bibisect-win32-5.0 or git://gerrit.libreoffice.org/bibisect-macosx-64-5.0 are listed in the repositories section?
This make Norbert Thiebaud the most active committer in the last 7 years, which isn't actually true.
Link: http://goo.gl/nihJGM

In the last 2 years, 176 commits from László Németh are set as empty commits -> why?
Link: http://goo.gl/EzjfVj

the number of commits by author in core is quite different comparing the dashboard with git-dm or git shortlog.
In the dashboard, the top 5 from January 1st 2013, 19:00:00.000 to November 2nd 2017, 12:43:14.014 is ( Link http://goo.gl/hL4KTo ):
Caolán McNamara 20,075
Stephan Bergmann 13,119
Noel Grandin 8,042
Miklos Vajna 7,536
Michael Stahl 6,555
while on git-dm is
Caolán McNamara 14616 (15.3%)
Stephan Bergmann 11711 (12.2%)
Noel Grandin 7687 (8.0%)
Miklos Vajna 5105 (5.3%)
Tor Lillqvist 4453 (4.7%)
and on 'git shortlog -sne --since="01 Jan 2013"' is
14720 Caolán McNamara <caolanm@redhat.com>
11735 Stephan Bergmann <sbergman@redhat.com>
5635 Noel Grandin <noel@peralex.com>
4601 Miklos Vajna <vmiklos@collabora.co.uk>
4252 Michael Stahl <mstahl@redhat.com>
which is quite similar to git-dm
Where all those extra commits come from?

Of course, all 3 points described above affects the total number of commits by affiliation. Anyway, it's important to mention that the commit by affiliation in the Dashboard and in git-dm show different data.

For instance, Noel Grandin has 3 different affiliations in the Dashboard ( Link: http://goo.gl/nvJVAd ) because it counts all affiliation throughout the period of time, while git-dm only show the last affiliation.

Guilhem, is this something you can fix?
Marketing - Task #2435 (Rejected): register for Berliner Stiftungswoche 2018https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/24352017-12-14T10:21:50ZMike Saundersmike.saunders@documentfoundation.org

As with previous releases, I will make a video showcasing the new features. Steps required:

Analyse https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/6.0 and see what we should highlight

Talk to developers about any other new features that aren't on that page (or need more info)

Prepare draft of the script and circulate on marketing-priv@

Record audio

Record video clips

Edit it all together, and check on marketing-priv@ again

Put script on wiki and ask for translations from l10n community

Make video live on release day, promote and link in press release

Google reCAPTCHA v1 which will be turned off on March 31, 2018. We need to track services that are still using v1 and upgrade to v2.

The following services are all using v2:

In 2016 we ran a series of "community weeks", focusing on different areas in the LibreOffice project:

https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2016/11/02/libreoffice-community-weeks-wrapping-up/

I intend to do something similar in the build-up to LibreOffice 6.0, due late January or early February 2018.

Full weeks may not be best, as they could simply repeat a lot that was said before – instead they could be "community focus" or "community spotlight" posts and promotion, looking at what different teams have been working on for 6.0. (Plus how they work together, what channels they use, and calls to action.)
Marketing - Task #2104 (Closed): raise awareness of how TDF/LO contributes upstream to projectshttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/21042016-10-26T10:03:30ZMike Saundersmike.saunders@documentfoundation.org

Simon Phipps had an idea at LibOCon, that we could highlight the contributions made by TDF/LO people to AskBot and Bugzilla. This could work as a blog post, but I should talk to people on those projects and maybe it can be a joint effort.
