Redmine Infrastructure - Task #3297 (Closed): missing strings for download pagehttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32972020-08-10T07:39:37ZFlorian Effenbergerfloeff@documentfoundation.org

There seem to be strings missing in Weblate for the download page, namely

Slovak

Italian

These need to be added to Weblate, and then a mail to website@ needs to be sent to notify the community
Extensions - Task #3296 (Closed): Can't upload ott filehttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32962020-08-09T01:50:16ZJun Nogata

Hi,

When I upload an ott file of a text template file, I get an error message "Extension 'ott' is not allowed".
Infrastructure - Task #3295 (Closed): Missing from download list on Website: New UI languages Fri...https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32952020-08-03T14:33:39ZXisco Fauli Tarazonaxiscofauli@libreoffice.org

From https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134875

There are two new User Interface languages for LibreOffice 7.0:
Brand-new UI translation into Central Kurdish / Soranî / سۆرانی (ckb)
Brand-new UI translation into Friulian (fur)

The download packages for the localized UI exist [1],[2], but these two languages are simply still missing from the LibreOffice download website [3]. Please add these two languages to the list on the website.

We need to plan the internal meetings for LibOCon. LibOCon days are October 15-17. A virtual Hackfest (#3116) is tentatively planned as well, maybe also some mini summits.
Pending are board meeting, team meeting, MC meeting, joint meeting.
Keep in mind the different zime zones that make longer meetings hard to attend.
Infrastructure - Task #3263 (Closed): Redirect https://downloadcounter.libreoffice.org to https:/...https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32632020-07-14T14:32:15ZThomas Bertels

The download counter added by #1842 is down (https://downloadcounter.libreoffice.org/).
Is this intentional?
Infrastructure - Task #3261 (Closed): removal or migration of legacy Redmine projectshttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32612020-07-13T09:39:41ZFlorian Effenbergerfloeff@documentfoundation.org

Several legacy Redmine projects should be removed or migrated after the release of LibreOffice 7.0:

https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/projects/libocon/files

Extensions - Task #3260 (Closed): Localized Extension Site Availabilityhttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32602020-07-12T05:07:39ZRizal Muttaqin

Currently using LibreOffice with Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) locale and the Extension button in start center point to https://extensions.libreoffice.org/id which is non-existent by now. I don't know in the previous extension how this handled but the URL either should be fixed in the core or we provide appropiate localized extension?
Extensions - Task #3231 (Closed): Message when an extension is archived or publishedhttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32312020-06-02T14:06:06ZHeiko Tietzeheiko.tietze@documentfoundation.org

Please send a message to the author, if address is known, in case an extension is archived. Would be good to have a couple of predefined reasons such as out-dated, no content, violation etc. plus the ability to add free text.
Marketing - Task #3212 (Closed): create LibreOffice 7.0 "New Features" videohttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32122020-05-29T07:58:09ZMike Saundersmike.saunders@documentfoundation.org

Initial ticket for working on the video. Rania Amina has already done some great work on draft, which we can expand as the feature list becomes ready.
Infrastructure - Task #3207 (Closed): templates.libreoffice.org should redirect to a filtered vie...https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/32072020-05-26T10:05:24ZAdolfo Jayme Barrientosfito@libreoffice.org

In the help we mention this URL to help users get document templates; see https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/help/commit/?id=8c7ae43f5361145d88cbd2830e3e2eb802117b5e and issue 2137.

This has regressed since the deployment of the new site. It is not obvious for users how to get templates since, sadly, once again the site is very haphazardly designed. Nobody consulted the design team for mockups apparently.

The URL <templates.libreoffice.org> should work and get you a list of templates, not irrelevant, randomly ordered extensions.
Infrastructure - Task #3183 (Closed): decommission old sivlerstripe instance/convert to statichttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/31832020-04-14T12:48:52ZChristian Lohmaiercloph@documentfoundation.org

We still have a couple of old NL projects that are basically unmaintained and still not migrated over to the newdesign instance.

create a static export of the site and then turn off the instance.
Release Engineering - Task #3172 (Closed): create tag for 7.0.1 rc2https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/31722020-04-14T12:28:01ZChristian Lohmaiercloph@documentfoundation.org

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/7.0#7.0.1_release
Release Engineering - Task #3171 (Closed): create tag (and branch) for 7.0.1 rc1https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/31712020-04-14T12:27:52ZChristian Lohmaiercloph@documentfoundation.org

https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/7.0#7.0.1_release
Infrastructure - Task #3099 (New): Increase SSO forced re-login periodhttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/30992020-02-21T15:48:06ZMichael Meeksmichael.meeks@collabora.com

It seems our forced re-authentication period is one day; that's really painful. More so because (for whatever reason) my browser refuses to store credentials for the TDF SSO infrastructure.

Can we bump that up to say a month, or year ? =) can't remember when Google last forced me to re-authenticate, and previous bugzilla was much longer.

Of course, on the plus side it is fantastic to have the SSO - so this can be tweaked centrally, and I only get badgered for one bit of infrastructure, hence forgetting to file this for a long time.

Thanks !
Infrastructure - Task #3096 (New): Deploy XHP editorhttps://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/30962020-02-18T13:35:39ZOlivier Hallotolivier.hallot@libreoffice.org

The XHP editor is good to enter in production, it will be nice to deploy it.

The editor is running at https://newdesign.documentfoundation.org/xhpeditor/index.php . Total space is less than 50M. No user files to store. PHP 7.x

The editor need access to the master Help git subproject. It can be either by cloning the submodule in the root of the webserver or a read-only symlink to the git repo.

If the helpcontent is to be cloned, a cron job must be set to pull the contents form the master Help repo periodically (e.g. 5 minutes)

Contents of the Help editor is in dev-tool/help3/xhpeditor/ git repo.
