Description

Redmine did not send messages neither after my comment at bug #812 nor after Florian's answer.
My preferences "Email notifications" I have configured "Only for things I watch or I'm involved in".

Sounds right, as you don't watch #812 and are neither reporter nor owner
(and I think commenter doesn't qualify as "involved in" within Redmine)
