closedNotification on ask.libreoffice.org no longer works

Description
The Notification function on the ask.libreoffice.org/ system has stopped working.
This is documented on the following asklibo question.

When you select a notification and try to select MARK READ this is ignored.
This means that my notification list is no out of control as I can no longer remove notifications. Thanks Peter

Hi,
As new to Redmine, forgive if I am commenting in the wrong way. However,
I thought it would be useful to make you aware of the following
ask.libreoffice.org website question.

. As these problems are making it difficult for both the people asking
the questions and others like me who help and answer some of them.
Questions like this give LibreOffice bad publicity. Is there anywhere I
should be jumping up and down to apply pressure. I would also like to be
able to apply some soothing words if possible. It is easy to lose
reputations. After all LibO is a great product with amazing people
evolving it further. Thanks Peter

Peter, this is the right place to comment on the issue. We are increasing our attention towards the Issues with Askbot.
Regarding the full-moderation mode: It was necessary as spammers targeted AskLibO very well-directed, so automated spam avoidance tools failed us.
We have to re-evaluate the situation.
Regarding the Bugs in AskBot we are working with Evgeny on solving them ASAP.

Thank you for fixing, or organising the fixing of the Notification and
Send Feedback problems on ask.libreoffice.org. Now we just need to make
certain we do are bit in answering questions....Peter
