Some brainstormed project ideas:

create a filter that exports diagrams in Calc to d3js: https://d3js.org/ e.g. for publication on the web.
have an "open data browser" that integrates the data at: https://offenedaten.de/dataset and allows those to be imported with a few clicks to Calc or Base -- likely as
an extension.
implementing a fuzzing infra for LibreOffice

As per the link above the first round ends September:

1st round: 08-01-2016–09-30-2016

a supporting statement should be thus out no later than end of August to be effective. Assigning this to Italo for now to champion this (as per mail from 2016-08-01)
