Description
This ticket is used for tracking the location of TDF and LibreOffice event materials¶
These include booth items, clothing, flyers, brochures, stickers and everything else we can use at events. If you need some materials, see the list in the newest comments below for what we have.
Then email mike.saunders@documentfoundation.org with your request, so that we can arrange it and keep the list up-to-date.

Walter sent some updates/addition to the list, and Italo wanted to reach out to others who might have TDF items
Is this list up to date already?

I've added Walter's additions, but I haven't heard from Italo.
It should all be up to date. I'm coordinating materials sent to Xisco for Akademy in Spain, and will update the table accordingly when he receives them.

Shall we move this document to Nextcloud for easier editing?

There was another suggestion, to put it all on the wiki so that others can add when they have materials, and we can add information on how to request items. A bit simpler than going via Nextcloud and documents, IMO.
Walter Pape is dropping all of the DE merchandise at my flat tomorrow, so I'll make a new, complete list when I return from Chemnitz (and my vacation).

Sounds like a plan indeed!

So I had a big delivery of merchandise from the Papes recently, and I'm going through it (more next week). In the meantime, I'll start to build up a list here, and then add it to the wiki – organised into categories – with information on how to request, as discussed.

I propose we update the list during August, to have an up-to-date status by LibOCon (if there's any update needed at all, of course)

I'm thinking about moving the list to a private Nextcloud spreadsheet, so we can edit directly with LOOL. What's your take?

We've had it as a wiki page, then a spreadsheet, then a table in a Redmine ticket, and now it's a list in a Redmine ticket, so I'm a bit reticent to change yet again :-) I'm not sure what it'd solve; and if it's private, it's hard for people to get an overview of what we have... What do you think?

AI from call: add pictures to this ticket to identify certain items more clearly - also good for new community members, to get an overview of what we have

Following a call with Stephan and Sophie, we propose to move this list to a public Nextcloud spreadsheet, to keep it alongside the separate (and not public) inventory of TDF assets. In addition, I can add images to the spreadsheet for some of the merchandise items.
Updated by Mike Saunders about 3 years ago
With very few in-person events in the last 18 months, there hasn't been much movement of merchandise. However, I've posted out lots of T-shirts, hoodies, stickers, mugs etc. to community members for interviews, the Month of LibreOffice etc.
FOSDEM 2022 will be entirely online, so no need to order extra merch for that. But in the new year I'll make a new inventory of what we have, so that we can prepare orders for (hopefully) some in-person events in the first part of the year, and other community activities.
