Description

Currently the gerrit-etc is essentially undocumented and quite a mess, with some commits on the master branch, but not in production and even worse some changes on production but not on master. Please document:
1/ What the branches are for
2/ Where changes should go to first (e.g. like in libreoffice core: "Commit to master, cherry-pick to production")
3/ How and when changes to the repo are deployed
4/ Links refering to further docs
