- too many applications, creating a burden for maintainers
- Pootle and AskBot, don't know what happens in two or three years with any tool, even if current choice is fine (Olivier)
- health of community/projects is important, Weblate was a good decision
- no urgent need for webdesigne but some graphics design
- no webdesig, but e.g. scripting abilities, webdev
- JavaScript especially relevant, you can do a lot on the client side these days
- SEO also relevant (Olivier)
- idea is to invest in upstream applications we use ourselves (Ilmari)
- goals: open thinking, workshop at LibOCon, presenting some ideas to kick off, not a final decision; e.g. IRC, mailing lists, Redmine/Bugzilla, AskBot/Discourse
- panel discussion led by Ilmari, also invite Daniel and the Spanish community
