Description
For LibreOffice 7.0, Rania and others in the Indonesian community made a
superb video based on a script I created: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XusjjbBm81s
We plan to do the same for LO 7.1, ie short snippets of info along with
images/animations, rather than a longer, narrated script. So I've sent proposals to the marketing-private@ list for feedback. We'll wait a few days, and then start work on video clips/screenshots.
Then the steps are:
- Send all content to Rania for assembling into the video
- Put the script on the wiki for translations
- When the video is finished, upload (unlisted) to YouTube and PeerTube (Paolo's instance?)
- Make sure that the video is included in the press release and other release materials
- On launch day, make the video public and spread the word
