Would appreciate progress on this task. In particular since admins have no communication channel to authors of abandoned submissions, a clear feedback whether a draft is complete and ready for review or not.

Still receiving extensions without attachments, no license etc.

validation as to what filed are required for publication is indeed still missing.

I'll have to see how to require it for publication, but not for editing/saving, or rather: how to indicate to the maintainer that data is still missing.

For extension: title and description are required

For release: title, download and license are required
