Happens quite often that only the frame is published without the actual extensions. It would be an improvement when

a) the step between creating the extension and uploading a release is removed; for example by automatically switching to the respective site on save
b) the specified information are checked for completeness and one cannot publish (but save) a contribution without release (and license and...)

Any further idea, Andreas, Rizal?

Would appreciate progress on this task. In particular since admins have no communication channel to authors of abandoned submissions, a clear feedback whether a draft is complete and ready for review or not.

validation as to what filed are required for publication is indeed still missing.

I'll have to see how to require it for publication, but not for editing/saving, or rather: how to indicate to the maintainer that data is still missing.
