Recently Jenkins started to try to build patches in gerrit that are intended to feature branches. This is unnecessary.
Another example is distro branches, patches towards those are correctly not attempted to be built: https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/154900

The Jenkins project name is “Gerrit for featurebranch“ and its ref pattern is “feature/**” so presumably someone thought it was useful?
