Hello Guilhem,
I'm reporting this issue here as you suggested the other day.
The idea would be to have the list of branches listed in https://git.libreoffice.org/core sort by activity, so master could be always displayed on top and then the other branches are the most active ones

Done on the stage instance: https://gerrit-stage.documentfoundation.org/plugins/gitiles/core (along with an upgrade to gerrit 3.10).

IIRC you also wanted to change the href to the diff view somewhere but I don't remember the details, can you file a separate ticket for that?
