An introductory paragraph about the book already exist in the main page (index.html)

Explain to visitors that this is the official source of documentation for LibreOffice, "it comes from the same team that creates the software!".

Dedicate content for these audiences:

• Cover to cover readers, they want to know everything about LibreOffice
• Looking for a quick reference, they want to share or understand how a feature works
• Looking for a quickstart guide to start, they want to read just enough to start using the software

Create clear sections for every topic: Writer, Calc, Draw etc. and show the download buttons without the need to display the collapsed section. The idea is for people to quickly navigate the content: identify the topic and click the button next to them.

1. Adopt other websites look and feel

Adopt the style of websites.libreoffice.org, crashreport, extensions and whatsnew. Here I would like to double-check the publication process to confirm if I can propose an improvement by changing the underlying framework of the website, if not I am happy to keep the current stack.

As long as it stays easy to update and maintain. As you may have noticed, the current stack cam from a public freeware.

I ran a SEO analysis on seoptimizer.com, major improvements recommended:

• Include more text and keywords to the land page
• Link to social media accounts
• Include Shareable metadata

Agree

I ran an analysis of speed and performance of the website and it is good overall.

• Images can be optimized.

That is tricky. We thought to change PNG's to WebP's (Google recomendation)

Now to the content:
1. A large feature banner to display the latest book or any book we want to feature

I take that this is independent from the Guide displayed below? That is, feature Writer guide in Calc page?

Perhaps add an splash icon/image with text as "New!!!", "New release !!!" or "Just published"...

2. A bar to filter by categories/titles

OKay . Add a button for "Other guides (books)" because we like to promote other books on topics related to LibreOffice.

3. A grid of cards, one per title, with three actions read, download, more versions that takes you to another page with all oldest versions for same title.

Is this grid independent of the feature banner? (I guess it is)

4. Finally a pagination bar, in consideration for now, maybe we can show all title in one page
