Quoting from #49: "prepare a landing static web-page to be displayed while the migration is on-going at bugs.libreoffice.org"
Relates to #753
What Norbert told me (and I'll confirm with Tollef for clarity) is that Tollef will make take FDO Bugzilla "offline" during the migration period. This may be implemented by making the db read-only, or might involve a site-wide "We're migrating a project" static page.
Either way, bugs.libreoffice.org should still resolve to something reasonable during this time. Do you think that's good enough, or do you think we should create a separate static webpage?

From what I understood in fact FDO BugZilla will be taken offline in one or another way
What needs doing urgently is to prepare a static landing page that our bugs website can be redirected to, hosted ideally in our SilverStripe
This can be prepared without any further feedback from Tollef, it's completely independent from third parties

Here's my first draft. Comments?:
Bugzilla Migration Underway!
[p]Hi![/p]
[p]The Document Foundation (TDF) and the LibreOffice project
are currently migrating all of our bugs from Freedesktop.org
to our own brand-new Bugzilla server. Because we have such a
large set of bugs and attachments, we expect this process
may take up to a few hours.[/p]
[p]If you're looking for something to do in the meantime
[https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/manuals take a look at
our latest manuals], get a bite to eat, or join us in the
[https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/IRC #libreoffice-qa
channel on Freenode] to say "hi" and encourage us along as we
complete all of the steps of the migration.[/p]
[p]Thank you for your contributions to the LibreOffice
project! We'll have the bugtracker back up as soon as possible
so that you can report new bugs that you've found in
LibreOffice, in our Android Impress Remote, or one of our
other tools.[/p]
[p]Sincerely,[br]
Robinson Tryon[br]
QA Engineer - The Document Foundation[br]

I like the positive approach of the text, thanks a lot for that ;-)
A few comments still -- mention that during the migration, the bugtracker will be completely offline, for reading and for writing
- mention the new URL where it will be
- briefly explain why we want to migrate (more flexibility, configuration options, direct access etc.)
- mention a mailing list an an IRC channel where people will be around during the migration and after for questions (e.g. -qa, and the qa list)

Added all of those suggestions. Draft is up in Silverstripe (but not linked or in site menus):

Also added sign-ups for during migration and post-migration to encourage people to help provide support to anyone with questions about the migration or the new bug tracker:
