Situation was shortly discussed in today's BoD meeting - with Paolo Vecchi, Emiliano Vavassori and me in the Board's "oversight group for events". - Organizing events often is hard, suffering from restrictions due to Corona-measures - Having less events, is a threat to local groups, to our community - So what can we do... # Find local groups that do something, or are trying to do that # Offer support ## # mentally - means time to write and call ## # extra budget for suitable location/accommodation ? - only money ## # find the best digital tooling for (partly) digital events - mostly money only # Showcase the results
