Description
I want to update https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Template:LatestReleaseStable so taht (with a parameter) I get the output with arabic or farsi numbers. The standard "formatnum" function and other functions don't able to handle that. Extension:I18nTags ( https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:I18nTags ) seems to do this. There is a report on the talkpage that the extension doesn't work any more.
Tasks:
a) Install the extension in a testwiki
b) test if the extension is really broken/borked
c1) if it works, install it on the live wiki
c2) Update a few templates and pages to get the latest (fresh/stable) version numbers in a readable number system for non ASCII languages
@Alex I put you on the CC-list as you "want" to install the testwiki.

extension installed after checked that other wikis do use it even with the newest version. :-)
now hacking the code ;-)
