There has been substantial work going on on this task, so updating the ticket
Cor and Florian wrote an initial draft for an updated Next/Second Decade Manifesto back in October
Serveral iterations and discussions have been done
Uwe Altmann is moderating this task now, and came up with a shorter Vision Statement
Currently, internal discussion is in progress with which version to proceed and how before presenting it to the public
