Task #2865
closedAllowing send emails to latinoamerica@global.libreoffice.org without the moderation approve
0%
Description
All mails from the forms of the LibreOffice Latin American Conference (http://latam.conference.libreoffice.org) will be sent to the latinoamerica@global.libreoffice.org list.
To avoid these mails stop in the moderation approval, we would like to allow send mails to this list direclty. Basicaly, we want the same approach used when someone sends a mail to the tdf-membership@lists.documentfoundation.org (the mail sent goes directly to the list, without moderation).
If you want more information, please ping me: Gustavo Pacheco - gbpacheco@libreoffice.org
Regards,
Gustavo.

Won't the forms always have the same From: header, like <hostmaster@documentfoundation.org> or <www-data@vm168.documentfoundation.org>? If so, from a purely technical perspective I don't think opening the list is the best solution: we should whitelist messages from that origin instead.

So, can we whitelist messages from the VM where http://latam.conference.libreoffice.org/ is hosted?.

No the whitelist mechanism is based on RFC 5322 headers, not on client IP.
