Description

As discussed during our in-person meeting in Munich, we want to setup a PeerTube test instance for internal evaluation.

At the conference, a few people asked if we can put the presentation videos on PeerTube at some point.

In the meantime, I can set up an account on another instance, eg https://tube.tchncs.de

Any update/progress?

  • Assignee changed from Guilhem Moulin to Franklin Weng

I have set up one and have run for more than a year.
You can create an account on my instance and evaluate the usage.

If you want to evaluate administration feel free to tell me to promote your account.

If you want to evaluate from an empty site I can set up another one on the same machine for you.

Here's an example of a tech journalist not happy with embedded YouTube videos on our blog: https://twitter.com/timanderson/status/1334071893767434241

At the moment, Paolo Vecchi is mirroring some of our videos on his PeerTube instance, but IMO we should have a dedicated one for TDF, if possible. I'll talk to Guilhem about it when he returns from vacation.
