It would be cool to serve our SVG assets embedded in wiki articles. Currently MW renders a PNG preview of them and it was discovered that the rendering was horribly wrong in the case of a syntax diagram for Basic.

Can you share the page so I can compare before/after? Also we switched renderer earlier this year, perhaps the PNG was rendered using the old — incomplete — one (imagemagick)?

File uploaded yesterday. Presumable bad because it includes inline style sheet, possibly other factors. SVG itself looks perfect in Firefox.

Done. CC'ing Franklin Weng who reported the SVG that wasn't rendered properly by imagemagick, namely https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:1020_releases_greyscale_framed_zh_TW.svg .
Thanks for the link, I wasn't aware of this extension :-) (Looks new and incompatible with the previous LTS.)
