We have certain machines that still are not set up with LVM. If possible without reinstalling, a conversion to LVM with our usual parameters should be applied.

Conversion to LVM is very dangerous without reinstalling and generally not advisable, as all files need to be copied to the newly created LVM-partitions.

I'll do this.
We need to schedule downtime for the servers (one by one) and boot them in rescue mode.

Please let me know if there are any preferred times when I can take the machines offline.
