Description

Mike, here are some ideas to improve the user support aspect of the subreddit. We can discuss how to implement them sometimes (I have almost no idea of reddit features/customization, yet).

1. Design/fill sidebar to provide relevant and useful information.
-current fresh/still versions,
-where to get help (roughly what's on the Community Support page, link to BZ should also be included),
-how to get involved, with links to individual areas.

Good example: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox

2. Have stickied posts of upcoming/ongoing important events (at least that are important for users), updated with news regularly.
Let's say, major releases, starting from beta 1 until a bit after release (timeline, interesting features, test phases).
Or the next "Month of LibreOffice" event.

While I wouldn't expect too much discussion going on in those threads (it's a tiny subreddit), reddit would be a great place for people who aren't enthusiastic enough to jump into IRC/BZ/ML, but are interested in some aspects of how LibreOffice is coming along.
