Task #2457
closedgoogle login broken for ask.libreoffice.org
0%
Description
right now, trying to login to ask via google fails because
The redirect URI in the request, https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/account/signin/complete-oauth2/, does not match the ones authorized for the OAuth client.
trying to migitate that one, I created corresponding API credentials in TDF's google account and replaced the client-ID/secret in askbot configuration for English project - while this doesn't complain about the redirect URL and shows the google login form, after entering the credentials askbot shows:
Internal server error system error log is recorded, error will be fixed as soon as possible please report the error to the site administrators
But I don't find anything in nginx logs or uwsgi logs - where to look for that/where's the issue?

I'm investigating the issue. Google console suggests that it stopped working on Dec 31st.
Meanwhile I've disabled the google login button.

I'm the user who reported this at https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100993
Now I can't log into Ask.LO.
Truth be told, I've been frustrated with the half-baked StackOverflow clone that Ask.LO is, for years. (For example, as a new user, I can't upvote good answers until I get reputation myself; how does that make any sense?).
LibreOffice is a fine product, but (re)inventing a Q&A site is non-trivial, and it shouldn't be part of its mission.
I've been administering online forums since 2011, and I highly recommend Discourse as a forum and Q&A solution.

Evgeny, any ETA when it could be fixed? Thanks!
