Description
Hi Evgeny, would it be possible to set an Ask instance for the French speaking community. Moderators would be me and Jean-Baptiste Faure (jbfaure@libreoffice.org).
Concerning Ask localization, I've seen that French is not complete on Transifex, I'm part of the FR team there, would it be possible to be added to the Askbot project (I already asked on transifex but get no feedback) then, I'll finish the localization. Thanks a lot in advance :) Sophie
Ping Evgeny, any news on when we could get the instance? Thanks in advance!
Done. Please let me know if there are any issues.
Thanks a lot Evgeny, I'll let you know if we have any issue.
Hi Evgeny, could you also add me to the Askbot project on Transifex so I can finish the translation. Some strings and part of the FAQ are still in English. I'm part of the FR team already. Thanks in advance.
Hi Evgeny, there seems to be a problem with the FR Ask instance, I wanted to mark an answer as correct and get: Callback invoke error: parsererror. The same if I want to upvote an answer. Could you have a look, please. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sophie, the issue with marking answers as correct and voting is fixed.

Thanks a lot! and thanks also for adding me to the translation group :)
Hi Evgeny, it seems we still have an issue with our instance. When one moderator tried to edit a question he gets this error "'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe9' in position 11:ordinal not in range (128)". He has tried removing all accentuated chars, but it still happens.
Also, I've finished the French translation and corrected several typos in existing one, could you deploy it? Thanks a lot in advance :)
Poked Evgeny again, who will have a look

Could someone please identify a page where editing fails and from which user account (i.e. the admin that sees this issue)?

Yes, I asked the admin meeting the problem, but he said he has not get the error anymore since approx. one month and a half. So it seems to be solved.
- Status changed from New to Closed
I've verified that editing of questions in the French interface works, this issue should be closed IMO.
