adapt redirection rules to nginx
Added by Florian Effenberger over 10 years ago.
Updated over 9 years ago.
Description
In Apache, we had several redirection rules in place. Those need to be rewritten to make them fit into nginx.
Inside LibreOffice, for example, the Help -> About LibO -> Website leads (in German versions) to http://www.libreoffice.org/de which we previously redirected to de.libreoffice.org
those from the vhost definition are fixed, missing some that were added to the .htaccess (mailinglist-redirects that need capture of the domain name to properly rewrite)
- Category set to Webserver

- Status changed from New to Feedback
Can someone please provide a list of missing redirections or where the old ones can now be found?
the old .htaccess based redirects I mentioned are in /var/www/sites/libreoffice.org/.htaccess the other in the old apache vhost definitions (but those should all be handled)
