Task #968
closed
Anything besides the imprint can be done by others than me ;-)
So, for e-mail, I usually use socialmedia+HANDLENAME@tdf, like
socialmedia+libreoffice-help@tdf, you should have access to that account
Then setup the account, spread the credentials, but make it PRIVATE first
After you have my approval of the imprint stuff, it can be made public/open
For the logo, the design team can help out, otherwise just take what's
in our other Twitter accounts :)
Thanks!
Is the alias socialmedia+libreoffice-help@tdf already created (feel free to send the credentials to me privately).
I'll proceed as you described.
C.
No need to create it, the plus sign is just an extension to an existing
address :)
Poke me when it's setup so I can have a look for the imprint, but might
be only after my vacation.
- Assignee changed from Florian Effenberger to Charles-H. Schulz
All done now. Granting access to the two volunteers who will run the account.
- % Done changed from 0 to 80
So we have: https://twitter.com/libreofficehelp
But it has been inactive for almost five years. Also, we (TDF) don't provide support for LibreOffice – we recommend that home users visit Ask LibreOffice for community assistance, or get professional support from the ecosystem.
So my suggestion would be to close this Twitter account. But I'll check on marketing-priv@ for feedback first...
So after a brief discussion on marketing-priv@, the agreement is to close this; I've pinged Charles to see if he still has access...
Actually, I've been able to access it. So following Muhammet's suggestion, I've changed the profile and added a tweet, saying we're stopping it:
https://twitter.com/LibreofficeHelp/status/1230422652692635648
I'll leave that up for a few days, then make the account private. (Better than closing, in case we need it for the future...)
- Status changed from New to Closed
Now I've made it private, to everyone who wasn't a follower before. I'll keep the login credentials, just in case we have an idea for this account in the future: https://twitter.com/libreofficehelp
