Please state the details about the configuration help that you need (general setup of the webserver/database stack?)

as discussed yesterday (in rl): the best would be getting a debian 8 (or any other up to date os) for testing mw1.25 upgrading. additional i would need some "documentation" how to clone the existing database from the production server.
would be nice to get a dns entry like wiki-test
uploaded files (images in the wiki) do not need to be copied. (i know it is a huge directory)
so somehow: the existing mw-server directory files (including the extensions) + db (and a short doc how to clone the db for the case i want to get it on a up-to-date level)

short summary: alex should show me how to config the new vm (getting a mysql backup on it and how to instal where the mediawiki stuff) so that I can test the stuff. We should do this next weekend. ;-)
