Organize the LibreOffice Youtube channel
Added by Aron Budea about 8 years ago.
Updated over 7 years ago.
Target version:
Team - Recurring
Description
Ideas:
1. Create playlists, for example LibreOffice 5.2 New Features (in each language), LibreOffice Conference (per year) etc.
2. Expand Home to include more than a single video: uploads, current (5.2) playlists, whatever else interesting
3. Add further links to About
An example: https://www.youtube.com/user/celebrateubuntu
- Assignee set to Mike Saunders
- Target version set to Q4/2016
Assigning this to me, as I'm doing the most work on the YouTube channel at the moment, so I think that makes sense!
Does it make sense to turn this into a recurring ticket, as IMHO the general setup of the channel has been done and we now have to do regular productions and maintenance?
- Target version changed from Q4/2016 to Recurring

Yes, as I'm doing most of the work on the channel now, setting to recurring.
- Status changed from New to In Progress
Making a note that as of 24 Nov 2016, the channel has:
- 2,730 subscribers
Will keep track of these stats.
- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
Done various bits of work on our channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/LibreOfficeTheDocumentFoundation
- Updated header image so that LO logo is centered and doesn't fall off the right
- Updated front page so that "popular uploads" and "created playlists" sections appear beneath the featured video
- Added Support (donate) and Join us links to the About tab
- Added playlist for LO 5.2 New Feature videos
- Status changed from Closed to In Progress
- Status changed from In Progress to Rejected
Merged into new ticket #2242
