We'll have to work out a schedule based on availability of different people around the world.

Here are some people who could help provide QA coverage (listed in ascending order by timezone):

- US (West Coast): Joel Madero
- US (East Coast): Robinson Tryon
- Europe: Sophie Gautier
- Europe: Rob Snelders
- Europe: Cor Nouws (?)
- UTC+4: Jay Philips

Do you have a firm commitment by these people to be available the day(s) after the migration? We need that ideally now

Once we arrange a specific migration date with Tollef, we can reconnect with these volunteers and confirm the specific availability of each (which may depend upon school/work/family schedules). I'll add them as Watchers on this bug report so that they'll get a ping when we make updates, which will help to keep them in the loop.

  • Due date deleted (2014-11-15)
  • Priority changed from Urgent to Normal

Details depend on ETA, so lowering priority for the moment and removing due date

  • Due date set to 2014-12-31

Now that we have a date, can you reach out to people again to get their commitment, maybe together with the announcement in #752?

What is the date?
The page https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/TDF_Bugzilla_Proposal/Post-Migration_Support gives 34th and 35th of januari. But those don't exist.

Saturday, January 24th is the date set

Robinson, can you adjust the wiki page(s) accordingly?

On the 25th I can be available for a few hours. On the 24th I have other appointments.

Robinson, can you reach out to the QA folks to fill the table? With a bit more than three weeks to go, they are rather empty, so this becomes urgent

I pinged some people previously, but I pinged them again. I'll also follow-up in person.

Several people were unsure about exact schedules, so I'll get them to re-confirm this week. I'll bring up the schedule at the QA Meeting

Thanks, sounds good - maybe the ESC meeting is also an additional option, but you can judge better for sure ;-)

Did you ask in the QA call?
Can you reach out to people again, ideally during the next ESC call?

I did, and I got some more people outside of the call.
