Description

Could someone please make the green buttons "SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS", "JOIN THE PROJECT!", "DO MORE WITH LIBREOFFICE" and "GOOD LOOKING DOCUMENTS" in the right part of the download pages localizable?

Thanks, m.

EDIT:
Solution: add the following to the input box labeled into the corresponding box "Sidebar buttons, see https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/1023"

 <a class="btn2 btn-libre_office_green" href="get-help/system-requirements/"><span class="fa fa-wrench fa-2x">&nbsp;</span>System Requirements</a>
 <a class="btn2 btn-libre_office_green" href="community/get-involved/"><span class="fa fa-heart fa-2x">&nbsp;</span>Join The Project!</a>
 <a class="btn2 btn-libre_office_green" href="discover/libreoffice/"><span class="fa fa-plus fa-2x">&nbsp;</span>Do More with LibreOffice</a>
 <a class="btn2 btn-libre_office_green" href="discover/templates-and-extensions/"><span class="fa fa-smile-o fa-2x">&nbsp;</span>Good looking documents</a>

Cloph told me this works via Pootle - maybe Sophie has details?

Just checked again in Pootle, in project Website, file newdesign-sl.po there are no such strings.
Maybe Pootle files were not updated, if they were added to pot file?

We had a major infra issue the last days where Cloph jumped in, so other
tasks need a bit longer, unfortunately. Sorry for that. When the infra
story has been worked on, we'll look into the other tasks. Sorry for the
delay here...

Just a quick update so you know we did not forget about you ;-)

Cloph is currently involved in maintenance of our infrastructure, which will bind resources for this week presumably, by migrating machines to new hosts
Sorry for the delay here, we'll get back to you as soon as possible

To avoid those sort of delays in the future, I'm also trying to spread Silverstripe knowledge a bit further: http://www.mail-archive.com/website@global.libreoffice.org/msg13796.html

I feel bad you have to wait for so long :-(
Silverstripe is quied tied to Christian, we try to spread the word with
a webcast and get new volunteers involved soon

Cloph is involved in a lot of projects at the moment, but hopefully can
catch up soon

Sorry again!

this is not just making it translatable, but also making the links configurable.

Work is carried out mostly, we need to wait for Pootle migration to be done, tentatively end of this, early next week - finally ;-)

  • Status changed from Feedback to Resolved

Decided to make it translatable via one of the unused textfields in the cms.

So copy this into the corresponding box ("Sidebar buttons, see https://redmine.documentfoundation.org/issues/1023") in the backend of the downloadpage and adjust link and label accordingly. Keep length limits in mind when picking a label. If what you want doesn't fit a button, consider moving it to the already existing Custom sidebar area as plain link instead.

INLINE EDIT: Please see the corrected snippet at the top of the page. (use span instead of i tag)

Note that since projects have old value in those fields, I will only make that active later this week, after having cleared the bogus old values from the various NL-project's dl-pages.

change is active on the site...

PS: You're meant to insert t he code as actual links, not as "escaped html"

Now, I do not know what you want me to paste there.
I pasted exactly the code you pasted, just updated links to Slovenian. You can check it for yourself and compare it to your sample on this redmine ticket page.
Now you write this is no good?
Can you then please make an example?
Thank you.

OK, got it.
You could just write:
click the HTML button on the box toolbar and paste this code (do not paste this code into the text box itself).

Thanks, m.
