Task #1773
open
Added by Florian Effenberger almost 9 years ago.
Updated over 7 years ago.
Description
TDF has two domains, namely
- tdf.io
- document.foundation
that we should setup as aliases for
- primarily websites
- secondarily e-mail
The scope of this ticket is to
- identify which aliases to create
- e.g. r.tdf.io could be a Redmine alias,
- and document.foundation should point to the main TDF website
- deploy them
please also add
w.tdf.io and redirect it to wiki.documentfoundation.org
Merci.
There's no need for immediate completion of this ticket, but I propose to ask during the next infra call and also on projects@ and website@ for proposals, so we have them collected and can proceed from there
is on the agenda for the next call
Suggestions/Ideas:
g → gerrit.libreoffice.org
j and/or c → jenkins.libreoffice.org / ci.libreoffice.org
m → moztrap.libreoffice.org
o → opengrok.libreoffice.org
p → translations.documentfoundaiton.org (pootle, t conflicts with tinderbox)
t → tinderbox.libreoffice.org
future:
d → dashboard.libreoffice.org
s → status.libreoffice.org
but is it really advisable to shorten it to that extent? i.e. wiki.tdf.io is not so much more typing than w.tdf.io, and it avoids collisions like a.tdf.io → ask.libreoffice.org, but could also be api.libreoffice.org
- Status changed from New to In Progress
Mail sent out by Alex in the meantime
- Target version changed from Pool to Qlater
Shifting to later due to the infra changes
- Assignee changed from Alexander Werner to Guilhem Moulin
re-assigning to Guilhem in order to clean up Redmine queues
nothing concrete to do at the moment
I haven't seen any discussion nor requests on this in the last months
I would releasse this ticket "into the wild" so anyone who has an interest in it can take care of it
If you object and your heart is on this one, Guilhem, let me know :-)
