Description

The objective of this domain is to create a more visible entry point for the documentation community and the documentation seeker.

This sub-domain will allow visitors to quicky dowload books and chapters.

The sub-domain will not replace ODF Authors, TDF wiki or the get-help/ entry in the mais website.

An alias 'docs.libreoffice.org' can be created too, if necessary.

Currently the sub-domain 'encontro.libreoffice.org' (managed by Eliane) is an example.

How urgent is the request, so we can factor it in accordingly?

Updated by Olivier Hallot about 8 years ago

  • Subject changed from Create a new sub-domain 'documentation.libreoffice.org' hosted in WORDPRESS to Create a new sub-domain 'documentation.libreoffice.org'

hosted in WORDPRESS is a 'nice to have' but urgency is as soon as you want to get new people to join easily

added to silverstripe and vhost.
Initial set of authors/people with publishing permissions: Olivier, Flo, Mike, Sophie, Me

Feel free to replace the homepage, but make sure that it's URL-Segment stays "home" - otherwise there'll be a redirection loop/the site will fail to load with just "documentation.libreoffice.org"
